The director of the Kip McGrath Education Centre in Gloucester South is Morwenna Grindle. Morwenna is a qualified teacher with many years experience.
Morwenna and her team bring a formidable wealth of knowledge and teaching skill to this Gloucester Centre.
We have many students enrolled in our programmes who are already excelling at school. Other students who come to Kip McGrath Education Centres are frustrated and, as a result, have stopped trying. It may be because they are finding a subject difficult, or have recently moved schools or been ill, and need help to catch up with their peers.
Our programmes are designed to give students the motivation to succeed. Our centre has a welcoming, friendly environment, away from the distractions of a family home – children are comfortable with us and find that they can learn and enjoy the process of learning. We only use fully-qualified and well-experienced teachers – because they know how to motivate and encourage children academically. When children respond to their environment, they become encouraged and receptive to learning new things. This builds understanding and confidence.
The Individualised Programme of Study
An individual programme of study (accounting for specific abilities and learning styles) is devised to meet the needs of your child using the tried and proven Kip McGrath method of tutoring. At Kip McGrath we use audio, computer, graded worksheets, activity trays and textbooks all specifically designed to teach, revise and extend.
History of Kip McGrath
When former school principal Kip McGrath and his wife Dugnija opened the first Kip McGrath Education Centre 30 years ago, their founding belief was simple: ‘Any child can learn if they are taught properly’.
Now an internationally trusted name in the field of private tutoring centres and supplementary education, Kip McGrath Education Centres has over 600 franchises in 20 countries.
Catering to everyone from pre-schoolers to university students, the Centres’ tutoring programmes offer advanced learning strategies, specialist learning skills for those needing a little extra help and motivation to succeed. Progress is always at the student’s own pace and fun is an essential part of our formula.
Looking ahead has always been part of our approach – part of our success was being one of the first educators in the world to understand the potential of computers and the creation of innovative programs in intelligence development and school readiness.
